Iron & Ivy is based in Los Angeles and is influenced by boutique fitness and luxury architecture, with an emphasis on craftsmanship running through. Every build is focused on its functionality through balancing space and equipment, creating strong and purpose driven gyms built to perform.

Iron & Ivy is led by Todd Dunham, whose background spans elite fitness and custom construction. Dunham taught fitness throughout the country for Soulcycle, Equinox, The Bay Club, and Exos before launching his own studio. Bringing his fitness experience into the world of design-build as a General Contractor, Dunham blends real world training knowledge with hands on building expertise. Dunham infuses his work with his own interplay between artist and athlete. Each build should feel distinctive and personal to the client, telling a story of the athlete's past identity, present life, and future aspirations.

TODD DUNHAM

FIREFIGHTER PARAMEDIC

Todd is a native of West Los Angeles, where his athletic ability took shape early and carried through his years at Brentwond School and into a lifelong commitment to performance. After graduating in 2004, he worked in custom construction while attending college, competing in both football and track. As his athletic career concluded, Todd transitioned into the fitness industry, coaching and instructing elite fitness across the country for years. The experience sharpened his understanding of athletic performance and training environments before ultimately drawing him back to his roots in custom construction in Los Angeles, where he earned his CA General Contractor’s license. Todd attended the UCLA Paramedic Program and was shortly thereafter hired as a Firefighter. He is a husband and proud father. Todd founded Iron & Ivy, where he serves as Chief Executive Officer.
